Statement of Faith

Our Core beliefs

Salted Grace Ministries believes the Love and Healing of Christ Jesus are available to all who are willing to receive. We believe there is no wound too deep and no trauma too severe for His Love to reach. We believe there is no experience to shameful and no action to sinful that the Lord is not willing to forgive. The Lord confirmed His Love for us, “in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” It is also confirmed that, “by His stripes we are healed.” We understand that while some may experience healing instantaneously, others, depending upon how deep their wound, may take time. Whichever way the Lord chooses, we believe His ways are so much better than our own. (Psalm 139, Romans 5:8, Isaiah 53:5, 8, Mark 8:24)

The Holy Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, Word of God and through it we grow to know God and learn how to live and conduct ourselves as followers of Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The One True God is eternally existent in three persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Matthew 28:19)

Salvation is obtained by Grace through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, and demonstrated in the act of repentance. There is nothing we could do to earn it. It is freely given by God. (Romans 3:23-24, 28, Romans 10:9, Titus 3:5-7)

The Holy Spirit is indwelling within us and empowering us to live a Godly life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts given to believers through the Spirit. (Luke 24:49, John 14:15-17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

Water Baptism is by full immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Eternal Life is obtained through receiving and believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that upon His return all believers will be gathered to spend life with Him forever. We believe that rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will result in eternal suffering. (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

The Body of Christ is found in the spiritual unity of believers. We believe that it is God’s desire that all believers be united. (John 17:11, 1 Corinthians 12:12-26, Ephesians 2:19-22, Philippians 2:1-4)

Holy Communion or The Lord’s Supper is given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of Holy Communion of bread and wine represent Christ’s broken body and blood shed for us. We believe that taking Holy Communion is not a means of Salvation but is a testament of the believer’s faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29)

Marriage is the foundation of family and exclusively between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26 27; 1 Corinthians 6:9)

Human Life is sacred from conception to its natural end. We must honor the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of all people and following Christ’s example, we must treat all people with love, dignity, and respect. (Psalm 139:13-16; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
